Director - Cara Cureton
Cara Cureton has been dancing for as long as she can remember and trained at studios around the Grapevine-Colleyville area. Cara is a GCISD Alumni and graduated from Grapevine High School where she was a member of the Fabulous Fillies. She served as Senior Lieutenant and received awards including solo finals at Crowd Pleasers and MA Competitions and was voted Most Outstanding Dancer.
She attended Texas State University where she earned her degree in Dance Education. While at Texas State she was a member of the Texas State Strutters, the largest University Dance Team in the Nation. Cara served as Lieutenant her Junior year and Senior Captain her Senior year. Through Strutters she was able to travel and perform around the world including the 2012 Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, a San Antonio Spurs Halftime show and the Disneyland Paris Parade.
Cara loves working in GCISD and is living her dream of inspiring the next generation of dancers! In her free time she enjoys spending time with her husband, son, and dog!
